I don't really understand why those guys aren't bigger. Three classic albums in a row and still…? I actually think it's because of how unwavering they are with regards to their sound, aesthetics, etc. It's truly their way or the highway.

NATHAN FOR YOU

I went to a taping of the original NBC pilot for "Mulaney" and this clown was the warm-up comic. It was DREADFUL. I can't overstate how bad it was. While the pilot itself was pretty disappointing, this dude made it even worse. 2 and a half hours into the taping, with like 3 scenes shot, my buddy and I couldn't take it

It sounded like he HATED that Bucholtz character.

Gu Cruise all the way baby!

Not only is Nathan Fielder's show the funniest one on television, but he is SO GOOD on Bang Bong. He plays the straight man perfectly and his disdain for Charney, and Jazz Jazz before him, is lovely.

B-?!?!

Gotta love his Shark Attack bit on the old Comedy Death Ray comp.

This album is basically like 40 minutes of Jack White going "Dan Auerbach how u like deeeeez nuts bro?!"

Nothing this year (or most any of the years) will come close to topping Todd Glass trying to guess U2 songs. The best part of which, perhaps, is Todd referring to U2 tunes as "his" songs.

I read this script years and years ago. And it was absolutely fantastic. Some of the best romantic comedy patter I've ever read. Here's hoping they stick to it.

I assumed she felt bad for him, like that he came in every day and ate by himself. He wasn't oblivious to this. He just doesn't care. Plus the free donut.

Ron Funches is one of our great comedians. Believe this.

Absolutely. Say what you will about her tunes (haha loll!) but in a musical world where everyone wears their influences on their sleeves and on the front of their shirts and also on their pant legs, too, it's lovely to have someone who is completely unique. #MUCHRESPECT

The first time I listened to this I had just, incidentally, smoked some sweet, straight koooooosh.

You're welcome. I very much enjoy this weird blog thing.

Some good analysis here —
