Yeah, Hannibal was being very considerate to the FCC by trimming all offending parts off of TorsoStag. As usual they can show a girl get her throat cut three times (once in reverse!) but society would collapse if a mutilated torso had genitals.

I mean, I loved it. It's totally unconventional television. It barely even feels like television; quite frankly the show sometimes goes to such an unconscious, dreamlike place that it barely registers as entertainment… it's an experience, as pretentious as that sounds. Between the art direction and the sound design…
Well, Will's profiling abilities have always bordered on the supernatural. But yeah, Hannibal definitely is the kind of killer who would want to see the reaction to his work, especially when that work is designed to lure Will.
Makes sense. We're 100% into dream-logic at this point. Will can sense Hannibal's presence through intuition or… their intense connection? It's awesome, but it defies logic. And I'm more than happy to go along with it. Every season I'm reminded how incredible it is that this show is actually on television.
The twist was so obvious that I actually started to convince myself that they were going to go in the other direction, trick us into thinking that Abigail was a figment of Will's imagination and then have her really be alive. The show has gotten so dreamlike and inscrutable - this episode especially kind of lives…
Brienne, Sansa and Davos at the wall would be awesome. Though I'm not sure the show wants us to have nice things anymore.
True, but Travis passes Nigel's sexuality litmus test: regardless of how gay he comes off in person, he dances masculine.
When I was in college this was one of those movies that girls I knew always wanted to put in the VCR because it was their favorite. I don't know whether it was on pay-cable a lot, or maybe it was just because in the late 90s people would just go to Blockbuster and aimlessly look around for movies to rent, but it…
No, you're probably right. Davos is loyal (probably to a fault) and he would never renege on a vow, especially considering how long he's been in Stannis's service. He certainly does have doubts, and I feel like when Davos does find out what happened to Shireen, his loyalty is going to be shaken, perhaps dissolved. I…
They've gotten soft. They used to be automatons divorced from all desire. Now they're free, they've been shown kindness and comfort. It's bound to dull their killing edge.
Well, I didn't envision it as being simple and without hazard. Davos has shown himself to be a rational, kind man, especially in his relationship with Shireen. I'd like to think he'd have taken the risk, considering his defining characteristic seems to be his willingness to speak truth to power.
I'd watch that. The first time a contestant uses incorrect grammar, he makes you cut off your fingers. The second time: he burns you at the stake.
Oh yeah. Big time. When she saw the shadow that killed Renly, she said it had Stannis's face. Killing Stannis is just as important to her as finding the Stark kids.
Melisandre enjoys what she does because she's a fanatic and really believes that she's the proxy for the Lord of Light. She thinks what she's doing is a necessity, and that by doing so, her cause will be favored. Why wouldn't she be happy, she's fulfilling the will of her god?
I mean, Stannis killed his daughter; the Boltons helped kill Robb, Catelyn, Robb's wife, Robb's heir; maimed and enslaved Theon (who kind of deserved it); de facto imprisoned Sansa in her former home… all the flayings… I guess I'd rather see Stannis defeat the Boltons but maybe sustain some fatal wounds? Something…
I meant if somehow Brienne had to choose between saving Sansa or killing Stannis.
Or she chooses to kill Stannis and ends up incurring the wrath of some vengeful, hooded, reanimated, dead person. Who may or may not be roaming the Riverlands. Who may or may not exist at all.
Yeah, I think Stannis is done for. Nobody wants to see The Continuing Adventures of the Guy Who Burned His Daughter at the Stake.
The Unsullied have been made weak by unchecked Mereenese prostitute snuggling.
I think they still make the board game… I know they have an online version. That would be a cool tie-in.
