I'm with aclassicbluff.. I don't see where Sandler is any better or worse than anyone else on the list. He's making the kind of movie for 12 year olds he always makes, but for whatever reason this one comes off as shittier than the rest. There may be no genre comedies on the list, but there ARE movies that have a strong sense of humor on the list- hell, Submarine is the second one down, and it's directed by one of the funniest humans alive.

How is Bridesmaids groundbreaking? It's formula Apatow with women. It was very entertaining and I'd watch it again but it's not by any means a top movie of 2011.

I thought the same, why even bother include it? It's a tea party-sponsored feature length ad that played in a handful of rented out theaters. If fruit that hangs this low is up for grabs you may as well include whatever Kirk Cameron rapture movies came out this year as well.

I'll watch Boardwalk Empire until the final episode. Same goes for Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Homeland, hell even Dexter and Hell on Wheels. Should also throw American Dad and Family Guy into the mix, as much as I hate to admit the latter.
