I'm not big on musicals, but wasn't the remake of Phantom with Emily Rossum and Gerard Butler decently done?

Oh man, that movie is my guilty pleasure- it's is sorely dated, with icky racial and homosexual stereotypes, but goddamn it if John Cusack wasn't at his peak hotness.
Oh god, that's going to be me.
Is that considered "old school"? I would call that sadistic.
They gave me a very tiny dose (0.5 mg), but I was a little annoyed that the doctor said nothing to me about dependency. She said it was "such a small dose" that I didn't need to worry about it. I did my own research and made sure I didn't take more than a couple nights in a row, and take the smallest possible dosage…
Yeah, I've been getting sooo much more reading done because of it but I allow myself extra TV time on the weekends and just stay up later.
Whoa, that's intense. I went to the doctor after I started hallucinating from about a week's worth of little to no sleep and through the roof anxiety, and they gave me Lorazepam (Ativan). It has been a godsend, but I'm lucky that I have a few different medications I can rotate so I don't have to rely on it.
I'm reading the Promethea series. I find Alan Moore pretty tedious, but I'm enjoying it overall.
I used "quixotic" in a completely un-forced sentence the other day. I felt pretty good about it.
Mine too! Far Rockaway of the Heart is great, as well.
As I mentioned to @avclub-d542a3419c3ad57206a96bcc86155ebc:disqus, I've had luck with Valerian supplements. If your problem is going to sleep rather than staying asleep it works pretty well. It only works for about 5 hours for me, but once I'm out I don't wake up. I've just never learned out to shut my brain off to…
I hear you. I use a rotation of Benadryl, Valerian root, and Lorazepam. I also have to stay away from caffeine after noon and turn the TV/computer off at least an hour before I go to bed.
WRT the Beats, I was always a fan of Ferlinghetti. He was always so much more present, so much more lucid than the others. His work is funny, too!
That sounds delightfully revolting!
LOVE Bad Blood.
Holy shit, Thee Headcoats.
Liked for Fugazi and Siouxie Sioux

I start class tomorrow! It will be my first day of school in 10 years!
Ugh, that is the worst and I completely feel your pain. Do you have and methods for curbing insomnia? I've suffered from it since I was a kid, and I've tried everything in the book to varying degrees of success.
