Hmm, that's a tough one.
Hmm, that's a tough one.
This nugget of information made me irrationally giddy.
I think so, too. I feel like Surfer Rosa gets a lot of credit as a "critic's darling", but Doolittle is a way more consistent album.
"Down To The Well" and "Rock Music" are classics! That album really has its moments.
Pixies>Sonic Youth
Speaking of musical numbers Cookie, I saw an old skit of you singing "Silver Bells" with Jeff Bridges on SNL for the first time this weekend. It was just about the cutest thing I'd ever seen. Nice work!
Good call! A good part of Pixies lyrics are in Spanish. Francis spent some time in Puerto Rico while writing songs for Come On Pilgrim, I believe.
This was a great read! If I recall, you spoke about most of this stuff on here, but it was a nice coherent piece all together.
I got 7% raise for 2015, my year-end bonus, and glowing praise in my annual review! I also signed up for 2 college classes starting January! Things are going well.
With regards to the move, you should look in to renting a storage unit nearby.
Ha! I'm not worried about it. I don't put anything on Facebook that I would be embarrassed for my grandmother to see. I can also maybe get away with not calling her so often if I post a cat meme on her wall.
Why would I wallow, or why delete my post? The post was long-winded and I obviously wasn't making myself clear. I wallow because I am an anxious sort of person.
DJ Shadow's Entroducing is one I always come back to, for sure.
The album art is awesome, too.
I was angry and sad that she didn't want to be friends anymore…10 years ago. Only recently I was totally shocked to find that she went through all the effort to block me on Facebook, even though we weren't friends and I never tried to contact her. I just figured it means she still has hard feelings, even though I do…
Not mad at all! What in that did you read as mad?
Good call!
I was tempted to just switch to the album when that Let Me Be Mine came on, just so I could listen to New York Kiss afterward.
An unreasonable amount of wine, and Molson Canadian when I watch hockey. At this point, Dry January is a welcome end.
