Are you a fan of Menomena? They're a Portland band that are longtime friends of the Helio Sequence. One of my favorite bands, and I actually discovered The Helio Sequence through them.

This CC has a transfer program when you apply for an Associate of the Arts degree. It's implied that you will be transferring to a state school for a BA after you get the Associates with them. Massachusetts has some issues, but their state school program is pretty excellent.
