I'm giving this show 3 episodes to not suck. If I can't handle it by midway through the 3rd, I'm out. I love Mark Strong, and Lenny James blew me away on the Walking Dead, but I'm definitely not motivatedĀ to care about any of these people.

I completely agree. I think a conversation about mutual respect and healthy relationships is in order for little brother.
That sounds like something my dad would do. Like the time he called me at midnight (11 his time, to be fair) on a Tuesday to hold the phone up to his speakers so I could hear "this really great new bluegrass band he went to see last night".
This might be a pretty good song, but it's hard to tell. The audio sounds like a recording of a recording on a cell phone from 2002.
Right? Adorable!
Not to mention it has some of the highest ticket prices of any venue in the city (maybe next to the Garden, the Pavilion, and the Opera House). Pixies played at the Orpheum about 6 or 7 years ago, and tickets were starting at $80. Too much for a shitty young punk like me, at the time.
With the adult diapers of Rhode Island and Connecticut shielding it.
Yeah, I can't bring myself to see Mangum solo. "All of NMH or nothing!" as I like to say.
Minneapolis? Gross.
What the fuck? No Boston? Not even scratching New England.
They are the place to go if you want to buy clothes that, upon seeing a picture of yourself wearing them 10 years later, you cringe with regret.
God, what is up with that? I don't want to see random dude's armpits. I don't even like seeing them at the beach.
The 90's and early 2000's will be our '60's.
A great cover. The Finn brothers can write one hell of a pop song.
Flip Hearts of Oak with Tyranny of Distance, and I'm totally with you.
I lost track of my copy of Shake the Sheets years ago, and never have had the presence of mind to re-purchase it. "The Angel's Share" gets me every time- love those guitar pick-ups. I might have to pick that up this week.
I would like to note that "Loyal to My Sorrowful Country" appeared on the carry-overĀ album (or, a puesdo- EP? Ted Leo solo record? How do you classify that release?) Tell Balgeary, Balgury is Dead. If that song doesn't come right out a very specific time and place, I don't know what does.
Picture above is not his best look, but I would still lick his face.
When it comes to internet dating, at least one party always ends up disappointed by the reality.
I agree. What happened to the Avon lead? Where has her mother been the last few times we've seen Joan at her place? Inquiring minds, etc. etc.
