There is a pub near my apartment has the BEST onion rings. I avoid drinking there, because when I'm in the bag I will kill a whole plate by myself.

Goddamn onion rings. Not the thick-cut ones with piles of breading, but the thin, delicate crispy ones. They get me every time.

Since Menomena is one of my favorite current bands, I ended up buying to tickets to see them even before Moms came out. "Heavy Is As Heavy Does" was the only single I had to go on, and I wasn't all that impressed. It had me worried about how they would fare without Brent in the band.
