'jury-rigged a computer simulation of herself into the radio' - seems a bit more cyberpunk than would be typical for Trek, but it would be neat.

You don't find jumja sticks too sweet? Jumja makes a fine tea, a good juice… but I find it's just too cloying eaten straight.
We do see the costumes, and I vaguely remember a brief snippet?
Garak's Clothiers maintains a perfect rating on Yelp. Odo has his suspicions, but cannot prove that the resident Cardassian tailor is doing anything untoward to ensure that that rating remains perfect.
I suppose… and while it'd be nice from a universe-building perspective, for the show to remember that aliens aren't just humans with makeup, that they won't have the same nostalgia and interests as humans (let alone 20th century Americans), it'd probably take more script effort to have Kira and Odo be going to some…
This week, on unanswered questions about holosuites:
Why, in-universe, would Kira and Odo be interested in a holosuite program about 1920s Paris, a place they have no connection to whatsoever?
'Term of art' means technical terminology, as in words particular to some specific context.
Which could be art, I suppose.
Trivia note:
Originally, Valiant had Kira in Nog's role. But the writers realized that there's no way Kira wouldn't have just taken back the ship… and realized it'd work better as a Jake and Nog story.
Combining mirror universes and bad Ferengi comedy? It'll drive a man to drink.
So, Mr. O'Brien, what do you think about the fact that a good portion of your life was essentially controlled by the whims of a bunch of 20th century TV writers and executives?
Or discovered that it wasn't really a weakness, that a crew of cadets running on hero-worship and adrenaline got it wrong in the first place.
Well, Nog isn't a journalist.
Some notes on another infamously bad Trek episode, Threshold, courtesy of memoryalpha:
1) It was the third-most-watched Voyager episode of season 2, with 6.2 million households tuning in to watch Janeway and Paris turn into lizards.
2) It won an Emmy for Outstanding Makeup, beating out, among others, DS9's 'The Visitor.'
…
NOT AVAILABLE IN THE BETA QUADRANT
What would be the difference between the former and the latter?
But do you have a culture of your own?
I feel like they misused a bunch of Kira's old comrades from the Resistance - well, more that too many of them got killed off, and in a kinda blah episode ('The Darkness & The Light') at that.
Maybe one or the other once served aboard a USS Alamo or a USS Crockett or something?.
Bashir apparently just liked last-stand battles in general.

Is Vic a citizen? If so, of what polity - the Federation, Bajor, Ferenginar? What responsibilities does Vic have? Should Vic get a vote - and, if so, what's to keep an unscrupulous politician from making as many self-aware holopeople as they can afford to swamp the electorate with supporters? Must Quark hire Vic…
