Definitely a good episode, but the only downside of extra HFG is hearing JG squeal all over the microphone for more time.

I liked the episode for the most part, but I always struggle when I feel like a show changes a character too much, without us being able to see much of the development. I have no problem with the whole, CB going from an IQ of plant level to competent, but to go from 0 to 60 without getting to see much of the process…
While I agree with you from a Mordecai is a loser standpoint, let's not forget all that he's done for her over the series. Whether it was being bold enough to tackle Death Bear (that saved Eileen but obviously made a big impression), saving her Dad from the helicopter plummet, getting her to her college interview…
I thought this episode had a lot of great, laugh out loud moments. I haven't gotten as big a kick from this show in a while as I did with the girls opening the toilet on Muscle Man. Thought this was a pretty funny and solid episode all around.
That's how the internet goes my friend. Any time I find an episode of Regular Show less than perfect, I get accused of being an Adventure Time spy bent on sabotaging Regular Show's reputation. I love both shows, but there's a reason why certain episodes go down in lore. Not every episode is worthy of an A or nothing…
This show can do very little wrong with its sports episodes. I laughed at a few moments that reminded me of the actual Stiller/Vaughn 'Dodgeball' classic from so many years ago. I love how competitive Benson gets with this stuff. Anytime the park gets to come together and play as a team is good with me.
Well, they tried to leave it ambiguous, but since Rigby didn't push Mordecai out of the way, it is obvious he didn't fulfill what his future self told him to do. That implies CJ is going to lead to trouble for Mordecai. We shall see. Fun episode though - glad it's back.
Are we supposed to believe that there was a purposeful connection between the gender confusion and mental illness? It remains one of the sweeter episode of any cartoon that I've seen and one of my all time favorites of this generation's cartoons.
Good call. That one isn't one of my favorites so I haven't watched it enough to remember that. Still, it is unusual that Rigby steps up for a third party more than Mordecai, but was kind of cool to see.
Definitely agree. I guess sometimes you just have to give a show the benefit of the doubt, but a lot of stuff was off in this one. Despite that, it was definitely a lot of fun.
Definitely a great episode, but not in the ballpark with Princess Cookie. All time best there.
Pretty good episode. I was a little nervous that this was going to be too standard, based on the premise, but it turned out well. Some of the character dynamics seemed off, like Rigby stepping up more than Mordecai. Overall, funny episode that fits right into that above average realm.
True, but there could have been so many great dynamics there. I'm glad Benson's Dad got the quick recall in there of his yelling past. So much potential for hilarious interaction though!
Good point about the family time. I think it would have been really nice to spend some more time there. Heck, I barely saw some of them because of how quick they panned through everyone.
Definitely in two minds about this episode.
I really enjoyed this one. Even though Muscle Man has been somewhat overused over the past season or so, episodes like this almost make me feel like he's a more real character than Mordecai and Rigby. Everything about Muscle Man just seems more legitimate, whether we're talking about his love of his girlfriend, or his…
Terry Crews?! Someone's Dad must be jacked!
Yeah, saw that. He must have won some kind of eating challenge.
For me, Regular Show can do no wrong with its sports episodes. Skips Strikes, Stick Hockey, and the original basketball one are some of my all-time favorites, and this one was great, too. I knew the basketball god was going to show back up at some point, and his appearance was welcomed.
I enjoyed it. Not quite on the level of Guy's Night, but seeing Pops try to fit in with the boys is a sweet story line.
