Man, I wonder how deep the Jake/past bad guy back story is going to go.

Good catch. I was going to speculate that perhaps number two was working at the park (i.e. being friends with everyone), so it would make sense.
I actually almost said that I had had enough Ice King lately, but took it back after looking at the recent episode guide. But it's the truth. I could use a little break, unless it's more of the Marcy story.
Hahaha. I'm not a gamer at all, but found that hilarious.
True. Wouldn't put it passed Muscle Man to be an eating contest vet.
These two shows are graded by different people who have different rubrics lol. But I agree with you all around.
Not A- material at all for me, though I'm guessing Adventure Time could do a Wacky Deli overexposed episode and it would still get an A- from our reviewer (teasing). Very average this week. Didn't dislike it, but didn't do much for me. The funny thing is I really liked the preview this week, so maybe my expectations…
Also, didn't Death say Muscle Man was supposed to die in a hot dog eating contest?
Have to say, I loved this one. Regular Show has really started to come back for me after a couple of months of mostly mediocrity (from my taste). The past few weeks have really been pretty solid (this and Skips' Stress were great). I always use my barometer with Regular Show as - interesting, funny, both, or neither.…
Yeah, the Cool Cubed/Asian Sidekick thing was painfully obvious. At times I want to get upset at the lack of creativity this show brings, but when it's that obvious, it has to be on purpose.
Alasdair deserves a lot of credit. I can hardly make it through the standard Adventure Time re-run of the episode. These breakdowns are wonderfully insightful and brutally honest, which is necessary. So kudos there.
We usually seem to be on the same page with these episodes. It's really a Thomas episode? Color me terrified…
That's one thing I forgot to mention - the show loves its callbacks but they were really well done tonight. Loved seeing Carmanita again.
Couldn't agree with the review more. THAT is what I'm talking about Regular Show. I've been clamoring for a few things lately and this episode gave them to me.
A whole episode with virtually no talking definitely had me uneasy about how it would turn out, but I was pleasantly surprised. I was impressed with how much it made me laugh and how enjoyable things were without the talking. So many of the sign gags were so well done. I don't always love the experimentation, but this…
I'm at least glad there are people on the same wave length as me (which I question sometimes since most people love every episode).
I can respect (and see) that. It's just not enough for me though. The growth of the relationships is always something I like to see, but I still wish they'd start bringing some new ideas to the table, instead of the same old script every week.
I see you @avclub-6ca57d2774f04ac8acf3d2b10f0338f4:disqus lol. I am a long time Regular Show fan (as I am a long time Adventure Time fan as well). Doesn't mean Regular Show hasn't blown lately.
I have to say, I'm really starting to buy into the theory that this is all just in Mordecai and Rigby's heads. This was another episode where they're just hanging around doing nothing, and find a way to meet their heroes (who always have the same voices) and it goes to some supernatural place that must be dreamed up…
Perfecting the sound to make everybody happy. It's truly amazing what this show pulls off sometimes lol. B-MO continues to be a source of cute intrigue bordering on insanity. That said, this wasn't special, but it wasn't bad either. The A- grade is quite generous when you take other episodes into account. I'm probably…
