csw, Britain isn't like America - they don't have private tv channels like we do, the BBC is publicly funded (through a compulsory flat tax). Big Fat Quiz of the Year isn't on BBC 4 - which is an arts channel - it was probably on BBC One, a channel aimed at the cattle class.
