Doc Martin and OMG Whites!

I would have liked to see more about how the estate runs, and what Matthew and Tom did to bring it back from the bring of bankruptcy. After all, the house is the real star of the show.

I also liked the plot with the Dr and Mrs Crawley, but I had a different take on it. She didn't seem oblivious at all, and in the end she knew exactly what he was going to ask her, but let him down very gently. It was such a gentle thing for her to say, that she valued his friendship so much that she didn't want to

I do like Siobhan Finneran, she has made O'Brien one of the more interesting characters, and I'd like to see her do more.

I do hope that Edith continues to grow a spine, tells everyone to f-off and let her be happy, and runs away to have a long, non-traditional, Bloomsbury-like relationship with the man she loves. She can then become a very famous writer and make gobs of money while scandalizing what remains of the upper class.

Although I rather like the idea that he develops a slight cough, Dr. Clarkson prescribes a treacle and lemon poultice, and Matthew is dead within the hour.

I agree with aetataureate. I thought it was going to be a hunting accident, but I was very relieved that we didn't have to go through all the wailing and hand wringing this would have brought about.
