When my uncle was little, he sang that song the entire drive from upstate NY to Indiana.  (With seven other people in the car).  It's amazing he's still alive.

Two words:  SOUP DUMPLINGS.

I am very much in the pro-beard camp.  Keep it!

Getting out of the office is a huge thing for me.  (And I like my job fine, it's just nice to get a change of scenery for a while).

Moving is truly the worst, my condolences.

No, but the seeds contain healthy, life-giving cyanide!

I had some Spaten Oktoberfest on draft, and it was fantastic.  Highly recommend.

Whereabouts are you moving to?  Hope you like your new place, and good luck with the job search!

My general feeling is that life's too short to be with someone who treats you like crap, for whatever reason.   Hope things work out for the best.

Ughhh.  That sucks.  Hope you can get that sorted out.

It wasn't from Lane Pryce, was it?

Very best wishes to you— definitely a good decision.  (I've been there, too).

Cranberry juice (the real stuff, not the "cocktail") actually works pretty well, in my experience.  But yeah, it's not necessarily pleasant to drink straight.  I have to mix about four parts water to one part juice.

Best of luck!!

"Then I ate two jars of Nutella in a week."

Bocce is cool.  I used to live near Little Italy in Cleveland*, and there was a bocce social club there with a bunch of genuine old Italian guys.

Definitely going to try this!  You can't go wrong with pork belly.

We have a bunch of Ethiopian restaurants here.  I love that particular cuisine, it's wonderfully spicy and fun to eat with a group.

Mmmm.   If you want to get technical, shepherd's pie is traditionally made with lamb and "cottage pie" is its beefy equivalent.  No crust, just potatoes.
