I like the one where things start out normal, but then we find out things are actually not what they seem.

I bet you could make one up easily enough-  I think it has a raw egg, tabasco, and Worcester.

I'd like to try that single plum floating in perfume, served in a man's hat.

I host a post-Thanksgiving "Friday Pie Day", where we eat leftover pie and watch Mystery Science Theater movies.

Thanks!!  I'll definitely be trying that recipe.

Chocolate babka is the only babka.  Anything else is a sin against God and man.

I'm having this tomorrow for Sunday lunch.  We make them in a muffin tin.

Caerphilly?

There was one Wallace and Gromit film where they talked about Stinking Bishop cheese, which is also real.  I've never had the pleasure, but I've heard it's delicious.  (Apparently, there was a huge demand for it after the film came out).

I usually add rose water to rice pudding (along with cardamom), which is excellent.

I'd be willing to try that.  I'm also a fan.

I always though hasperat would taste like kimchee, for some reason. The kind that's been buried in the ground for 100 years.

I didn't know about this!!  Get a load of this hotcake:

Plus, survivor's benefits.

"That said, while those suits are cut well on him, they're outrageously unstylish in today's world."

My boyfriend has had a Nick Offerman-style mustache for all the 17 years I've known him.  I literally can't imagine what his face looks like without it.  (I would probably feel the same way if he shaved it off, I love it so).

Hey, it worked for Phel and Prison Wine.

My high school friend's mom had the same set of Kipling books, and I thought for years that she was a closet Nazi.
