Oh my God, yes!!! I don't live in Cleveland anymore, sadly, but I loved Melt. My usual there was the Parmageddon. I don't know whose idea it was to put a pierogi in a grilled cheese sandwich, but it was a stroke of genius.

Poutine has crossed the Great Lakes into my upstate NY hometown. We have a poutine food truck that drives around after the bars close, which I personally consider a great public service.

Not sure about the curry, but I ate dinner at a Chinese restaurant in Wexford once. It was….. interesting.

I made giblet gravy from a Southern recipe for Thanksgiving. It was what I would call yellow-ish, so I'm not sure if that would technically be considered a white or brown gravy. But it was delicious!

The most perfect fries I ever had were at Lola's in Cleveland, which is kind of a fancy restaurant downtown. They're cut very thin, matchstick-size, and cooked in duck fat with rosemary & sea salt. They're crispy perfection. (drools)

I have a lot of British cookbooks, and I specialize in making traditional suet puddings (e.g., Jam Roly-Poly, Sussex Pond Pudding, etc.) Reeeeally bad for you, but so good on a cold winter day. With Bird's custard.
