@avclub-b894e4330aeaa46a373292d17c62984d:disqus Shhh!  Don't let Steed hear you…

@thomasrhys:disqus "or even Beverly fiddling up a hoedown"

Yep.  I honestly thought the whole world agreed on this point.

@avclub-eb058ced22520c3a8f4e4a6e2fb16403:disqus As a person of the female sex, I feel confident in telling you that you're really making a mountain out of a molehill here.  This is probably the least sexist and most friendly corner of the internet, and we have a swell bunch of guys (and gals) here.

The bit with the Universal Translator is what made me stop watching the show, back in its original run.   Talk about insulting your audience's intelligence…

Oh, you guys!!  Here I am finally.  No beatings so far this week, but I'll take an absinthe if someone's buying.

@avclub-bbb04f2a70775131fa0397bbdb4c03de:disqus Well, why not?  Surely they can replicate unlimited puppies?

"that rather homely unknown cast member"

You can watch it on Amazon instant video for about $2.  I'm sure there are other, um, means available if you don't want to spend actual money, though.

"Clap your feet together, so your trained helper monkey can dial this number…"

They did the same gag in both the East and West coast versions, so he definitely knew Armisen was behind him the second time around.  I'd lean towards "intentional".

There were a bunch of differences between the East and West coast versions besides McCartney vs. Kardashian thing.  (I saw both of them via Amazon instant video- I'd say the East coast one was slightly funnier).

Dr. Spaceman was by far the funniest part of the evening for me.  I loved the '50s cigarette commercial for expectant mothers.  ("Nine out of ten doctors stated, "Who is this?  Why are you calling so late?'")

The wild ones have more Omega 3s, so they're clearly the healthier choice.

My boyfriend has a thing for Susan Sarandon.  I didn't really get it until I saw her in Louis Malle's "Atlantic City" (particularly the part where she comes home from work and rubs lemons on herself).

FUN FACT:  Rom was briefly in the band "Loverboy".

Yeah, that was my impression as well.  Considering how long it took Odo to learn how to do a humanoid face (with mixed success), it probably took him a fair bit of practice just to replicate a regular ol' Cardassian neck.

I would be upset, too!!  I deserve a fetish outfit and a busty cake.

Also, show up with your amusingly concerned Jewish parents.
