I have no idea why networks keep trying to make shows that would work better on cable/streaming. It's very clear that network shows usually only truly flourish when they're as dumb and broad as possible.

No more coverage?! I'm just going to ignore the low amount of comments and continue to be outraged instead of just really disappointed.
For a dog that's introduced only a scene prior, and especially considering his ultimate fate it kind of hurt this otherwise hilarious episode. I obviously know they didn't actually kill the dog in real life just as David Hornsby gets into making his own character be off worse and worse with each Rickety Cricket…
It was extremely scripted and forced. I know one of the talk shows (either Kimmel or Fallon) has done dramatic Real Housewives readings and as much as I love Bobo, even he couldn't save that unfunny ripoff.
Denise died on the way back to her home planet.
Man I always forget about that thing.
The end of the episode heavily implies that on Daryl's side it's a romantic awakening. Whether or not it has to do with awakening a new side of sexuality or just feelings about another person is yet to be seen, but I'm 99% sure it was supposed to be about Daryl finding himself smitten with White Josh.
In the Thanksgiving episode they ended it with Greg and Rebecca hanging out which was clearly a pointed love triangle door re-opening moment, and that makes the recent developments more interesting. I wonder if the Thanksgiving episode was written just prior to the five scripts being ordered, and that led directly…
To be fair, Community did far more weird and bizarre shit on network television. (much of seasons 3 and 5 especially) But yes, this was probably up there with the looniest things to air on ABC ever, and they currently are also airing a Muppets sitcom.
Not only did this series just have a Christmas episode without the main character appearing once, but it also featured two semi-graphic sex scenes with Santa Claus.
No, it's premised under the idea that his character is just nerdy and self-conscious in his late 20s. The fantastical world around him allows this well-worn trope to be taken to insane, high concept places.
One of the CW representatives at the TCA event said they were hoping for "The Netflix Effect" to work its magic on CEG. Jane the Virgin hit Netflix over summer 2015 I believe, and I wouldn't be shocked if the CW gives CEG a 13-episode second season renewal and immediately strikes a deal with Netflix to grow viewers…
I agree. This is not Community season 4 at all, the transition has been pretty damn seamless.
It wasn't a very good joke, but my god it was what, five seconds long? Episode was a B to B- for me personally, and I don't see that whole deal crashing it down to a C.
More of the "JIM IS NOT THERE FOR HIS FAMILY" bullshit.

It's Always Sunny did it!
They cut out Dexter calling his mom a "skull fucking douchebag", which is the reason she faints. I guess CN considered that a line that can't be crossed.
