Jagger? Richards?
Amateurs!

I always believed that Finchy/Packer were meant to highlight that even though David/Michael were tools, they were at least well-meaning tools, whereas Finchy/Packer are thoroughly irredeemable.

As much as I agree that they were idiots, I have to point out that a show about experienced gold miners doing a competent job of mining, would have been pretty damn boring.

SHIVA BLAST!
Missed the pilot, but this wasn't horrible. Kind of like the second episode of 'The League'. I'm hopefully optimistic.

If Bill Hicks is right, and I think he is. Then Satan+Salvia= Miley Cyrus is the next Jimmi Hendrix.

Let's see, a man-whore implies you will have sex with anything that moves. Whereas, someone whose taste runs to older women at least implies that you have standards. So definitely man-whore.

Only robots will be able to save us from the Zombie Apocalypse.

Beerfest is also waaay better than Super Troopers. Unless you like full frontal male nudity for some reason…

Carrola would have been much better than Ferrara. But the original is too well established and has such a huge budget that any attempt to recreate it here at that same level is completely unrealistic. It doesn't help that they are doing the exact same challenges with the exact same results, shot the exact same way.

My vote is for Michael's Cousin Oliver to take over.

They kind of boxed themselves into a corner having so many characters. I don't know that much about the business of TV. Is it possible that they are contractually obligated to have all of the adult actors appear in each episode?

My favorite line of the episode
Was Sue's 'My Cross Country Coach said I have the heart of a champion and the legs of a spectator'.

I'm guessing the Mountain and Pacific TZs got a new episode of Cougar Town, but the Eastern and Central TZs got 10 minutes of an older Modern Family and then the premiere of some crappy new drama that absolutely couldn't be put off for 20 minutes.

I think in the first two seasons Leonard was trying to move away from his geeky side to try to woo, and then keep, Penny. But now he just seems like a buzz kill.

I'm torn. Maybe I should feel sorry for Bristol that she had to grow up too quickly just because Grandpa McCain plucked her mom from obscurity to be his VP candidate. It's not like teen mothers are rare these days. Maybe I'm being too judgemental.

Is Reality TV….
…done? It seems like every reality TV show these days is really awful. The only thing worse than this contrived BS would be if they made an actual reality show that takes place in an office. But they would throw in some kind of dangerous activity to artificially amp up the drama. Maybe 'Nuclear Waste

Unfortunately, every sitcom that is not a 'family' sitcom, ends up having multiple characters hook up with each other. They've already had Grayson and Laurie do a one-nighter, it's inevitable that she ends up with Travis and Bobby. And after Grayson and Jules break up, back to Grayson. There are only so many

As far as setting up the characters, I'd have to say 'Friends'. Everything you would ever need to know about each character was in that first episode.

Hi my name is Roger…
…and I'm a NASCAR fan.

Yes, Tom Cruise's character in Days of Thunder was based on Tim Richmond. At least in the relationship between Cole Trickle and his crew chief. The 22 year old brain surgeon played by Nicole Kidman was totally made up.
