Edge of Tomorrow was a fun movie but the editing gave me a headache. Same goes for the Captain America Winter Soldier move. Hyper-speed cuts in a movie are like being on an out of control roller coaster.

I was going to make a similar comment but thought better of it. Redmayne played a physically impaired character, which is still much beloved by Academy voters.

I missed the first hour of the Oscars but after watching the remaining hour and a half I don't feel like I missed much.
