I love that I see this headline the very day that, talking to someone I know about The Path, I announce I'll watch Dancy in anything…

Could well be true! I just don't have a lot of faith in Creative.

Oh, man, what they did with Barrett pissed me off so much.

Had to be troll the audience, I think. It was pretty much Vince McMahon laying down the party line. So I imagine the NXT chants must have stung… I honestly appreciated the audience for making their displeasure so well known, but got to feeling very sorry for Reigns by the end of it—and then annoyed with the crowd for

Hoping Zack Ryder keeps the title through tomorrow, at least…

I've always thought this was at the core of it, myself—and also that it's rather sweet, really, since I've definitely encountered people who've made me behave the way Karen and Matt do around each other.

You know, neither Chris Hardwick nor his talk shows bother me normally, but the idea of one of those for Preacher feels abominable, for some reason.

Have you read Black Wings Has My Angel? More crime than noir, but an excellent book I'd definitely recommend.

I appreciate that Erik Adams points out in this review one of the things that bugs me in period shows (probably more than it should): implausibly white teeth.

I feel like DC shows in general need to stop leaning on obsessive love as a character motivation. It's hackneyed to begin with, and then you put it in a superhero show…

"The ocean? What ocean?"

Getting Rome flashbacks from that header image.

I'm willing to be charitable and call it a nod to a character they felt they didn't have room for. I do miss Orpheus, though.

"Angelico is going to jump off of so many things this season, you guys!" Oh man, I can't wait. Of all the many things I like about Lucha Underground, Son of Havoc, Ivelisse, and Angelico as a trios team might be my favorite.

"…in a sequence of events handled in the elliptical style of an art film that ran out of money on location…" Man, so many good disses is this review. Haven't had the dubious pleasure of watching this movie yet—and just might for Walton Goggins—but the trailer is definitely a contender for the most insufferable trailer

I like that we have a header image from the "Hawaii Five-O guy" season of the show.

Just finished Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's Half of a Yellow Sun, and really dug it, and Sarah Schulman's The Gentrification of the Mind. Currently reading Elizabeth Ellen's Fast Machine—also great. After that, Rebecca Scherm's Unbecoming, Rona Jaffe's The Best of Everything, Leonard Gardner's Fat City, and Elliott

Robert Peace has been on my list for a while—I really need to just get around to it!

I actually just finished Half of a Yellow Sun and really enjoyed it. I think you will too.
