Outside of Arrested Development, Arnett's track record is not impressive.

WNBA team names are usually related somehow to their NBA sister (brother?) franchises. If the Wizards hadn't changed their name from the Bullets because it was "too violent" of a nickname, maybe they would have been the Washington Ladysmiths.
How on Earth does Sonia not include the NFL Thursday game as the token sporting event? Especially what should be an entertaining and emotional game with the 2-0 Chiefs visiting Andy Reid's former team of 14 years. How will the notorious Philly fans react? Can the Chiefs stout defense slow down the Eagles'…
Since you understand, can you explain to the rest of us why people like GWAR?
The Grantland fall preview made it sound more like standard-issue 20-something arrested development fare, with the gimmick being that it's about woman-children instead of man-children. Given that AV Club tends to think that gender swap alone makes bad things good (see The To Do List review), it's not surprising to…
Yeah, they banned burqas, too. Because no one should have to see a Muslim if they don't want to.
Boring people of all races and ethnicity watch that show.
Somebody who knows how to change fonts in Firefox needs to do one of those AV Club slogan posts for that. It would be incredibly accurate.
Paranoid nut job. Next you'll be saying the CDC is reversing its long-held positions on preventative care (mammograms and prostate exams, etc.) in an effort to control costs for the new ACA entitlement when it starts paying benefits next year - even though the presumed cost benefits from the ACA were from INCREASED…

I thought they were both funny, I'm just more concerned about them becoming well-rounded than I am the others.
I liked the jump cut to her need for one upsmanship, with the hot sauce on her sandwich. I think Dopey Cop and Angry Cop are the two we have to worry about getting fleshed out more.
If only they could have marketed it as "the show with the future star of 50 Shades of Gray."
They wouldn't need to wear jackets all the time in LA. I don't know why everyone on TV wears jackets all the time, but that seems to be a requirement.
There are different levels of bad. It could be watchabley bad, boring bad, funny-in-the-wrong-ways bad, promisingly bad, I-get-why-some-people-like-it bad. Dads, however, was turn-it-off-before-the-first-commercial bad. Or when I turned it back on, penis joke bad.
@Melancholic_Rodeo_Clown:disqus You'd have to ask the prosecutors.
I know the conventional wisdom is that Community got good with Intro to
Statistics, but I was hooked from the get-go. It got better, and the
Halloween episode was a step forward, but I feel like people are always
exaggerating how much the show improved over the course of the first
season. It was always good.
Shirley Bennett: They remind me of Sam and Diane. I hated Sam and Diane.
Annie Edison: Who are Sam and Diane?
Shirley Bennett: All right, we get it. You're young.
Two queens, including Casino Night. They dropped a deuce on everybody.
@avclub-d542a3419c3ad57206a96bcc86155ebc:disqus We would have hated it then. That's the curse, isn't it? We always want more until it's too much.
