Fun fact: At least for the CTV airing, MasterChef Canada used the same narrator guy as the US version. If MasterChef USA replaced Joe with Alvin I would be soooooo happy.
MasterChef Junior update! According to E!, the second season is slated to premiere on Nov. 7 with a third season having already been filmed by Fox.

I remember there being some controversy around Luca but he seems like a pretty affable guy, unlike Courtney. Season three was also a highlight with Christine. I can barely remember the first two seasons.
Courtney's entire arc just came off as bullshit, there was nothing about her that seemed redeemable. They tried to give her the sob story, Cinderella edit but that just fell flat on their faces.
