I liked Sixteen Stone when it came out and was aware at the time of the Nirvana comparisons but didn't hear anything beyond superficial similarities, intentional or not. Then again, Oasis was also popular around that time and I never understood the comparisons to the Beatles beyond what sounded like a poor Lennon…
