Yep, it does not look like much was accomplished this year.
Just wait for Sansa to go back to her Harry the Heir storyline now!

I tend to agree.
And then she will have to go back to Jaime. Because everybody is running in circle these dayes.

But IS HE???

If you skip to the comments immediately, how do you know Myles is off his meds? The review *is* substantive.

Well, not uncontested.

I'm pretty sure the main difference will be that the battle will make sense in the book.

Bran can still rule, now that he hasn't transformed into a tree!

Die predicably?

The Littlefinger payoff should have been in this episode.
See also : the Melisander payoff.

Yeah, this scene, as awesome as it was, made no sense from Yara's perspective. I'm sure the Iron Borns will be really pleased with their new queen when she changes absolutely everything about their way of life.

It wasn't even the best episode of the season.

To be fair, Melisander is really, really old.
My grandma, too, forgets which Lord she serves and who she resurrected for what reason a few weeks ago.

Liked for the CGI dog.

She didn't know they were coming, but she should have told Jon she sent for help.

Wun Wun was a little *too* effective as a siege tank, I felt.
The mighty gates of Winterfell seemed a little shitty.

Oh, fuck, Sam.
We are totally going back to him next week, right?

For the twists.

That one shot of Lyanna Mormont was awesome.

Completely agree. Jon and Sansa were total idiots and still won against a one-note villain.
