I really hope something happens to Brienne on the way back, otherwise this Jaime/Brienne scene is not a great payoff, especially compared to the more complex (and still unresolved) situation in the book.

I thought about that exact question this week, actually, and I came to the conclusion that the only payoff worthwhile would have been for Arya to really become No One.

She will just blow the candles every time she has to fight. And never go out during daytime.
