Well, I understand that sentiment. Does Fox really only put out those combo packs? I could have sworn I've seen a variety of options, although I admittedly haven't been paying too much attention.

Hmmm, nothing to say about Margaret or HD versions, but I actually quite like the DVD+BluRay combo idea. I guess I like paying a few dollars more for the convenience of being able to watch the movies wherever I go, on whatever system is available. To be honest, I feel a bit cheated whenever there is not that option…

Were there? Hmmm, clearly I missed them. I've seen the movie three times, and still don't remember anything mentioned about just why the countries were at war and who the prince was.

Indeed. All of a sudden, the royal witch comments, "Let's talk to the King about ending this silly war," and that is it? After it was impressed on us throughout the entire movie about how bitter and relentless a conflict it was, suddenly it stops at a single sentence? "Ho-hum, well that was fun, now let's stop…

I started to write this post out of knee-jerk denial. Then I actually thought about it and realized I agree with you.

Yeah, I would like this more times if I could. Fruits Basket may seem like a reverse harem cliche on the surface, but that is pretty much the farthest thing from the truth. There are some extremely powerful stories for the characters that definitely brought tears to my eyes.
I thought hatred of humanity was an adolescent thing. At what level of hatred is the cutoff for adulthood?

Who would actually claim that character out loud and in public? I feel like hunting her down now.

@avclub-a452630477eb936fd36fc9a9542d4598:disqus : I think I would like her character more if they hadn't written her to be so damn hyper, with Cusack screeching almost every line. I like Joan Cusack, but I have to admit her voice is not something I like about her, and to have her belt it out like she did was just…

Tell me that at least they killed the stupid little rat-squirrel thing who was always chasing after the acorn. Out of all the terrible aspects of the first movie, those horrible sketches were the worst.
