Good.  I thought I must have been living under a rock for not knowing about this book, but now I find out I'm just too old to have read this in school like everyone else AND I'm living under a rock for not have heard about it, considering it is apparently controversial.

Was it a generous gesture, or sarcastic?  Just picture it as an expensive bit of mockery, and then you can keep despising them both as much as you did before.

I think Parker's the most idiotic one of all.  In an ideal legal world, this case would be thrown out and both Parker and the lawyer would be penalized for being stupid enough to file it in the first place.

I always loved her character.  I wish more companions had her innate competence and intelligence, or at least I wish that her run had lasted much longer.

I have no idea who I got it from, but I acquired one of the Space Ghost soundtracks on cassette (back in the day!), with all the wonderful bizarre songs and skits.  I wonder what happened to it.  I just remember how much I loved Zorak's skits, especially the Nuggets of Joy.  He was my favorite character.

Hmm, good point, but I think there are more people who'd at least recognize Burrough's name than people who'd recognize "John Carter."  I mean, I'm not a Tarzan fanatic or anything, but even I have heard of Edgar R. Burroughs.  And adding in the name would at least let everyone know that "John Carter" isn't the sports

I thought it was a sports movie too.

I hate that "lack of stars" automatically translates to "flop."  If it were up to me, we'd have a lot more unknowns starring in big blockbuster films.  I get tired of seeing the same faces in these movies, especially when they are usually acting exactly the same way as every other movie I've seen them in.

The lightbulb is on!  I get it now.

Ah, well, I listen to weird music.  Sometimes it occasionally finds its way onto iTunes, but a lot of bands I like don't.
