See, this is why I come here. There's really no better place to go if you want to get grammatic and semantic corrections for your random pop culture comments.
Talk shows hosted by Oprah have always made me nauseous. Does that count?
Wow, I guess I need to try that one again. I love Murakami's work and have read all of his books except IQ84. But Wind-up Bird Chronicle is the only Murakami book I haven't made it through, just because I got hung up early into the book on the endless pages describing the main character making sandwiches and sitting…
Holy shit, it is spelled "Stephenie." She annoys me even more now.
Not a weird compliment. I agree completely, and it's actually changed my mind a bit. From her picture, I expected her to have a high, cutesy voice that would annoy the hell out of me.
I liked Rose during her two seasons and was satisfied with the ending where she left. But I was annoyed to see her come back in Donna's season, and I grew to absolutely hate her by that finale.
I've been waiting for this game to be released for almost two years now, ever since I read a brief announcement for it. I've been avoiding hooking my PS3 up to the internet because I'm lazy and connecting stuff requires effort, but sometimes sacrifices must be made.
I agree. I miss the early days when it seemed like they actually gave a damn about being relevant in the fashion industry — or at least, about trying to produce actual models instead of reality TV caricatures. I think season 1 was probably the high point in that sense, and it just went downhill from season to season…
"Oh, did we say April 14th? We meant April 14, 2013. Mwahah!"
Well of course the majority of series draw out their main conflicts. If a series hypes an upcoming fight up as the ultimate battle and then has the main character defeat the evil in a season or less, where is it supposed to go from there? Either 1: they keep going through more and more "ultimate battles" until it…
That kind of sushi lover doesn't annoy me, but what does annoy me is that that kind of sushi lover is usually the only kind catered to where I live. Which means that it's difficult to find any sushi that is not cream-cheese-filled where I live.
Sure, it's a bit douchey, but at the same time I think these douches have a point. More than any food I've had, good sushi really depends on so many factors that the majority of sushi restaurants (at least in the U.S.) don't seem to care that much about. Freshness, the way they make the rice, the sauce they use. I…
I'm too broke to walk out of a movie, especially since ticket prices seem to skyrocket every time I turn around. This has made me extremely selective in what movies I watch, so much so that out of the last three years, I've been to the theater maybe twice.
You know, I'd rather like to see Azula at soccer practice. I can clearly imagine her terrorizing her own teammates, and it would be pretty hilarious.
I love the shipper support!
I only watched the first two seasons of 24, but I remember that I hated Sherry Palmer with a passion yet was always delighted to see what evil manipulations she could come up with next.
Chiraporn is on my banner too.
Hmm, that wasn't something I'd thought about. So maybe they were able to relax a few of their defenses due to the nostalgia of being in a place of happy memories? Interesting.
Yeah, I do end up liking Mai a lot more from the Boiling Rock on, and I do like her as a character overall. We apathetic people have to stick together, after all.
