As well as pick pocket gangsters paying their debts.

On a serious note though, I do have to point out one of my favorite things about this movie: it's not "Love Theme from Death Wish 3," it's actually "Love Theme from Death Wish 2," because, and I am not kidding here, THEY JUST USED THE EXACT SAME SCORE FROM DEATH WISH 2 FOR DEATH WISH 3. Because, fuck it.

You don't really like opera, do you?
*chuckles*

I now have to assume that since conventional drugs cannot kill Andy Dick, only Jon Lovitz can.

I like TT5B just fine, but it is probably the album I play least, just because while their rhymes are in top form throughout, there's just a spark missing from the production I felt like. While I missed the instrumentals and the hardcore, I mostly just missed good samples. If they'd put out a whole album of rap, but

They don't nominate 'em like that anymore.

Interestingly, the Beasties got all respectable on that album by sampling…

I just now noticed
that this album cover is ?uestlove's Twitter icon. I never looked closely enough to actually see what it was, because I think in my mind I subconsciously thought it was the cover of GBV Earthquake Glue, and I liked the idea of that much better.

They also did the exact same thing
with the State sketch "Light Coma." The State folks talked about this in the DVD commentary on that episode, saying that "another popular sketch comedy show" did a skit with the exact same premise. Seconds of Googling turned up info about a 2005 episode of SNL hosted by (who else)

Yeah! And it was a movie!

"Warm…and Mandatory."

Yeah, but Jezebel and Feministing don't just comment things women are into, they're expressly feminist sites and generally comment on things directly related to that. I guess Jezebel makes more sense because it's more pop-culture related, but Feministing it literally makes no sense why they talk about Mad Men so much.

Oh my god, seriously, yes, fuck that song. I remember when it came out I just thought it was another stupid song on the radio, but when people started taking 50 Cent seriously I was like, wait, is this like, considered to be good rap? "In Da Club" is the rap equivalent of Jet "Are You Gonna Be My Girl," an

What I wonder is why he even bothered incorporating "Werewolves of London." I mean, I know they have the same chord progression, but he clearly knew what he was doing with the "Sweet Home Alabama" thing. My guess is that your average Kid Rock fan doesn't even know "Werewolves of London."

I used to feel guilty for not liking Glee (on the basis that I love Jane Lynch in everything else, and the fear that I'll look like a homophobe if I admit I don't watch it), but seeing these promos for the Britney Spears episode has curdled my feelings about this show into pure, unbridled contempt.

Big Bang Theory is a show for girls who wear shirts that say "I Love Nerds," which of course means that they don't. And, by extension, this concept, extrapolated onto all of society.

Seriously, people always say stuff like "yeah, but there are also some really good songs that people might not know, so these games are doing a service." No, they're not. Have you ever been at a party where people are playing these games? Sure, people like us are gonna lobby for Pixies or Replacements songs, but the

I think I'm the only person I know who actively hates Lady Gaga. I am sick of people saying shit like "her songs are so catchy" and "her shows are an amazing spectacle" and shit. Her songs are "catchy," but that's like saying "her songs are popular." It in no way guarantees they are "good." If you've heard Cher

Seriously, I wonder this all the time: WHY do sites like Feministing and Jezebel talk so much about Mad Men? I mean, I understand it touches on issues of societal gender roles in the 60s and all, but seriously, it's like, relentless with that shit. They don't talk nearly as much about ANY other shows, even ones that

Last season was the best, period. If anything, I feel like the most inconsistent season was 3, because it seemed to be more transitional. Not that it didn't have some amazing episodes (obviously "Sweet Dee's Dating a Retarded Person," one of the 5 or so best eps ever).
