To me, his work was always commensurate with Lennon and McCartney's from the word go. Sure, by "Taxman" and everything after, his stuff was downright perfect, but his earlier stuff has a lot going for it as well and is severely underrated. "Don't Bother Me," "You Like Me Too Much," and "Think For Yourself" are all

Me too, probably because it rules.

I'm surprised no one has yet brought up what we all know is our secret shared dream: a movie based on the AV Club comment boards.

"Check this shit out!"

37 people died in a massive triple-decker bus accident in London, Britain, New Hampshire and Wales!

I just love the fact that putting Bob Odenkirk in a Hawaiian shirt goes such a long way toward conveying that he's supposed to be like Brian Wilson. The highlight of the sketch though, is Cross' reactions at winning each year, along with the fact that all three of his "tribute" songs start with the exact same synth

YOU JUST CAN'T BEAT THAT TWEET

Never mind Rock Band: MBV, how about Rock Band: GBV? It could come with a special download pack for 14,000 more songs.

Rock Band: MBV will come with a custom Jazzmaster controller, and you'll be forced to do all the controlling with the whammy bar. I can see it now.

Since this is the muso-geek thread, I'm gonna throw this out there:

Now, you know what would REALLY kick ass
A John Lennon "Lost Weekend" game.

Plus an unlockable level where you keep shoveling spaghetti, or "mud," onto Ringo's aunt's plate.

WRONG. It's "What's the New Mary Jane."

With all the praise that Momofuku got last year, it was a little weird for me that even as a major Costello fan I just wasn't really that moved by it. It had a few songs I really loved ("No Hiding Place," "American Gangster Time" and especially "Go Away"), but for an album that was recorded so quickly and had such an

Hey
Is that a Target logo on Eddie Vedder's guitar? Discuss.
