Ditch the "It's because he loves Poe!!!" nonsense and I might stick around. Every Poe reference was so forced, yet still told me nothing about the character. Plus, if they were trying to set up Bacon as an expert, the fact that it took him that long to notice "nevermore" written on the wall really undercut that. I…
Well considering the number of action stars who are older than 50 vastly out number the one ones who are under 40, the novelty of old people in action movies is barely as it is.
And they are…[clicks on link, turns page] surprisingly white.
"A hilariously accented Peter Stormare" So, in other words….Peter Stormare.
Um…when did he win an Emmy?
Bradley Cooper is 40?! I never would have called that.
How silly should I feel for being dissappointed that the Avengers didn't get a Best Picture nom?
Am I meant to be shocked and deeply disturbed by the uber violence of a movie about a gang of ruthless cops doing whatever is necessary to take down the mob? Because it seems a bit naive to walk into an action movie and not expect a certain amount of lovingly shot carnage.
I was gonna say that. Other than "an underwritten Emma Stone" none of those descriptors sounded unappealing. I'm even on board with a a glibly self parodying Gosling.
Uh…when's Following on again?
I actually thought that was a nice little character moment. They both promise not to open their eyes. He keeps his promise and she cheats. Very telling.
Anytime we get to visit the shire, I want tea, toast, and giant wheels of cheese. That dwarf banquet looked yummy.
Is it weird that I kind of want to watch that Rod Zombie movie just because I listened to his Nerdist episode and thought he seemed very cool? Or, duh, that's exactly why people do intervierws, never mind.

Since someone else mentioned Abraham Lincoln: vampire hunter: The scene where Mary Elizabeth Winstead (as Mary Todd) sees the vamp who killed her son on the battlefield, rips off the silver necklace with the tiny sword he was playing with, loads it into a rifle and shoots. And they cut to the dead vampire with a tiny…

If I can throw my Avengers pick in here. The Loki/Black Widow scene. Hiddleston being completely terrifying, Whedon getting away with "mewling quim" in a PG13 movie, and then flipping the whole thing in her favor because interregations like this are apparently a totally normal part of her job.

Oh yes. Shame about Prometheus not making much sense, plot wise, because there were so many individual scenes that looked incredible and were so tense. That one scene with Fassbender on the organ/flight deck thing was so beautiful, and made me very annoyed that I couldn't see it in 3D.
