I really hate that they were ready to eliminate that girl because she wouldn't scream on command. But she can cry on command so that means she "really wants this" I know they're looking for people with good screen presence, it's a TV show, I got it. This is getting interesting. Ask five different people and it seems like you'll get five different answers on who's emotional arc holds the avengers together.

And then she gets Chris Pine, who isn't even that interesting in that movie but is still a huge upgrade. Anyway, why even mention the other guy? Couldn't they just let the audience assume that the girl who ran off to run her own tiny european country wouldn't keep the boy she liked in high school around forever?
