Look, I know I'm repetitive and boring, but

my most terrifying concert experience was seeing Youth Code and realizing "oh people still dance by getting drunk and running at you" (they were pretty cool though)

lord, I saw the Shaggs in June and could only handle about 8 minutes of it before I felt like I was part of exploiting the mental health of old women for ironic enjoyment

I'm not going to be able to show my face 'round here, but, I… uh… don't think Neko Case has made an album good enough to be canonized.

Jesus christ people that write about music, get over Lemonade. It was a solid album by a solid artist (who has made better work) but in no way belongs in this conversation…

no light no light in your pale blue eyes I never knew daylight could be so violent

Time travel is possible and very boring

death to the vodka martini

ugh like just imagine the cool (and probably more appropriate) Bond theme we could have gotten if they mixed up James Blake with Sam Smith like everybody else does

Hellll yeah Mike Skinner for new Bond theme

I'll never get past that piece of shit

Never Say I’d Rather Break This Glass and Slash My Wrists Again isn't as catchy

this comment having no upvotes or responses is bumming me out

Riki says that my band's just a Sebadoh rip off, and I can't say I disagree

RIP Mission Hill taken from us too soon

Remember? yes. Fondly? not really

both could involve popsicle stick jokes…

I never saw Wristcutters even though I feel like I would have loved it when it came out (I was a real sucker for those mid-to-late '00s indie movies that we all scoff at now but secretly miss)

It's great :)

my favorite movie is the Science of Sleep and that's fairly whimsical but I guess its mostly couched in how toxic that is and good lord maybe I've always been depressed :)
