Yeah, I wouldn't be interested in watching a second season of Horace & Pete.

I thought that was about De Niro, who supposedly has almost no detectable sense of humour.

You kind of nailed the folly of AV Club's sketch show reviews.

I do find myself thinking "yeah, you made this point before, and stronger" at almost every sketch now.

I think Lauren Lapkus is great, and hugely talented, but I cannot stand Ho Ho. The laughing at her own jokes only makes the character worse, for me.

You should think about downgrading that.

Hardwick has the wild-eyed enthusiasm of a cult leader. Which creeps me out, personally.

Whenever I hear Jonah Ray I can almost feel the flopsweat splashing through my headphones. There's a guy who is friends with comedians, and desperately wishes he were a comedian himself, so he tries extra EXTRA hard (and still fails miserably).

Schumer changed her mind, and explained why. That's why it isn't hypocritical.

Yep, it felt like one of those filmed bits for SNL.

That minions tote bag line was my only laugh.

Which, funnily enough, made Stewart's rally come across as even more impotent.

.. harp strumming, image goes all wobbly…

Seems kind of unavoidable during tapings of specials, but I see your point.

Yes, comedy should push boundaries, but where it gets a bit tiresome for me is when comedians keep directly referring to how they're pushing boundaries, or how they see it as their comedic duty. Yes, yes, you're very brave, well done, etc.

"They completely threw Robin and Barney's relationship out of the window, despite it being the culmination of a ton of character development for the characters over the entire series."

I thought it was a reference to the not-that-recent (but hey, this is SNL) hullabaloo about Joseph Fiennes being cast as Michael Jackson.

How was this different?

Yeah, I was disappointed by the ending. If only because it plays into the hoary cliché of the mentally ill person murdering a loved one. And it did feel trite to me (even ending in the classic blackout + scream..!).

Who is crying lol?
