Hey.

I'm no hater but I thought the mirror joke was legit.

Some white friends of mine in college did Tom Sawyer, Huck Finn and Jim. The guy who did Jim painted his skin brown with body paint. I think most people were kind of freaked out but I'm not sure anyone really know what to say.

I liked Zack's story. Being too early to parties is literally the worst thing in the world.

I guess I'm naive but I'd never heard of "Fred" character/movie/etc. before this and it didn't seem to me like the interview questions were subtextually critical of Lucas Cruikshank. I thought he came off nicely.

I always wear sunglasses when I go out. Because sometimes at night, the sun gets really, really bright, then it snows.

This reminds me of when I was a senior in high school, we had a Halloween parade where seniors got to walk through the halls of the school in their costumes throwing candy at younger kids who lined up to watch. So instead of being a ballerina or a tramp I was a gerbil. When I was younger my mom would make me these

Oh, I should totally go as Margot Tenenbaum someday. Never thought of that before but I used to have a coat kind of like hers because when I was 15 and first saw the movie I wanted to be just like her so I got a similar coat and wore it everywhere, even indoors. This year I'm being a cavewoman a la One Million Years

The Megan/Don/Faye stuff in this episode was so spot on. Although I thought the initial scene with Megan visible in the background in between Don and Faye in the conference room was too 'on the nose.'

That smile was the best moment of the entire episode. Oh my god.

I don't think Sally was ever pathetic. I mean, I felt sorry for her but in a self-righteous, positive way, not a "poor helpless thing" way.

I think Stan is just a reasonably talented asshole of generally decent intentions with a big crush on Peggy. Not everyone on TV is a date rapist!

Hey smuggy, I liked your longer explanation a lot better (no sarcasm).

Isn't that how trashy hookups that don't mean much to you usually work, though? You never notice the person in that context until the moment both of you happen to be in the same place and feel like fucking around at the same time.

Why is AMC so quiet? AMC is the only channel I have to watch with the volume literally all the way up.

I liked BETTY'S reaction to that even more. She was genuinely happy for both Sally and Don.

I assumed he said "chocolate bunny" but I didn't actually hear the word and was planning to try and listen for it upon rewatching. I agree their interactions seemed stilted. I was sort of surprised she came to his place (although maybe she's been there before? She must have) because it seems like it should just be one

Me too. I really appreciate the way Pete and Trudy's relationship has changed from this fraught, founded-on-lies thing to this point where it seems they both enjoy, appreciate and rely on each other as real people despite it being a quasi-arranged marriage by their appropriate social echelon.

Yeah I too thought that 15 might have been the age of a non-aborted kid. Joan would've been what, 19 then? That was a poignant scene. Alternatively, she could have just been making it up. I like making up stuff like that to strangers.

He and Twiggy Ramirez are porn stars in one of the porn films.
