New rule: Alison Brie in that dress can raise any TV episode or film's grade substantially.

Earth Vs. The Flying Saucers holds a special place in my heart for the effects alone. If there are any special effects buffs—like me—who are both saddened and curious about this news, I recommend checking out clips of the final climax if you can find them.

This gets a second season while Hannibal probably dies.

Coming this summer:

There could be brief interviews with hideous men!

Ditto.

This show is blowing me away in all departments. Even though we'll probably only get 13 episodes, Bryan Fuller and staff deserve all the credits in the world for making this work. Even if you have little to no knowledge of the Hannibal mythology like I do, it still works as a psychological crime thriller. And last but

Same here.

Can Christian Slater and Katharine McPhee use teamwork to fight an army of cyborgs across the drought-ridden plains of Nebraska? "The Last War," coming Thursdays this Fall at 10/9c. Only on NBC.

I just started watching this series for the first time back in December and it took me by surprise on how good it was. Very happy to see coverage here.

I'd like to see coverage of this. Sword and Sandal epics seem to be big now and it would be interesting to see the direction it takes for the first season (9 episodes, apparently).

I don't know, Honey Boo Boo may make you lose faith in humanity but The Event has some trainwreck-worthy moments as a scripted series.

Agreed. Would have like to have seen a cable-version of it.

First season—and the whole show itself—got me to discover other series outside the norm and despite whatever reservations viewers may have about the end,

Do you see the TV Club Mary? Do you see it? Just gimme a lasso and I'll pull it down for ya.

Sitting through that movie was like eating a bag of chips very well knowing they could be so much better if the factory bothered to let them cook longer.

Something tells me Scorsese's use of epic tracking shots might take on a whole new meaning this time around…
