@avclub-07f2d8dbef3b2aeca9cb258091bc3dba:disqus I don't know, I feel like that was partially editing. Brooke said that she wanted them that fried. And are we really supposed to believe that Kristin's team didn't do anything other than cook? We saw a ton of reaction shots from Brooke's side, but never from Kristin's. I

Definitely. The decisions were so useless, there was no debate involved. Tom has said in the past that they often spend hours debating the winner, and see the sunrise because they're talking for so long. Why would they make it seem so arbitrary??

Two episodes seems excessive, but even just an extra 15 minutes to a half hour. I was surprised they didn't have that, they usually do for the finale.

I kind of liked that the team selection wasn't important, because it always seemed like a stupid reason to screw the chefs over. I really liked the system they did last season though, when they had everyone cook an amuse bouche and the chefs had to choose from that.

AND "I GOTTA FEELING". The Black Eyed Peas are actually the worst.

I think I saw Hosea…barf.

Colicchio actually tweeted "Team Zissou" at one point last night.

Same. I'm concerned though, it looks like the Hunger Games. Actually that's kind of hilarious…

Also I think he could have used his dessert this time, even if he had to do it again in the finale. There's usually at least one chef that repeats a dish from the season when they know the judges like it.

Well if what they told us was accurate, Kristen didn't have the same six month where she knew she would be in the finale.

@avclub-cb3213ada48302953cb0f166464ab356:disqus I don't think it was really the editing though, Tom was much more critical of Brooke than the other judges, particularly about her dessert. It was interesting how Tom didn't agree with a lot of what the other judges said, likely because he was in the kitchen and not out

Seriously. I constantly forget that this is Parks' fifth season, because unlike most shows the quality hasn't dropped off as the seasons went on. Plus, they'll be up to 90 episodes by the end of the season, I can't think of a single reason why they wouldn't go to 100 for syndication.

Or Anna Shaw Howard Day!

Yeah, I'm a little concerned. It just looked like a giant white cooler but it was placed weirdly far away.

You mean a toaster oven?

Everyone knows it jumped the shark back in the fifth season.

Do it! Get vanilla ice cream, let it melt, pour a bit out and then mix in the scotch. Refreeze, and then drown your sorrows in it!

What if they name it something that's mentioned on here, and then we never know if they were reading this article or it was just a coincidence?
