I, ahem, have not only seen the movie but read the book. Book sucks too.

Can think of no fainter praise than "a poor man's 'Tough Guys Don't Dance.' " Ohgodohman.

God, I hate "Veep."

After "Another Earth" it's been kind of diminishing returns, though i admire her tenacity. She looks eerily like the 60's/70's actress Joan hackett (r.i.p.) Link to pic below!

I really dug Whiplash, and have nothing against either of these actors. It will be a frigid day in hell before I see this thing. Yes, i read the review.

phoning it in cause you're pissed off about what we're all pissed off about: ¡muy professional!

didn't this guy do a bunch of stuff for this weird website you may have never heard of called "The Onion?" not mentioning a strange omission.

I consider Aaron Sorkin to be a poor man's Aaron Sorkin.

Do i remember right, or is Cheadle's cockney accent an affect on the part of the character, who just chooses to talk that way despite not actually being cockney?

Dean Stockwell in "Tucker" as H.H. was pretty good. Less was more, too.

Was introduced to this guy once, by his fellow cast member of some play. I've liked his acting, but was surprised at how unconvincing he was in even pretending to be pleased to meet me. Cause he sort of tried, sort of. Say, do you think he knows Meryl Streep?

My dad, a veteran, loves the V.A. as much as he hated the army. Which is a lot. But this is the extent of my knowledge about it.

"The Innkeepers" about the crappiest horror movie I've ever seen, and the lip service you pay it probably involved more thought than its screenplay. Who the hell wants to shell out 12 bucks for a ticket to a horror movie that is in fact "a closely observed portrait of friendship at a dead-end job?" And I wouldn't even

"M" may have predicted it a year earlier.

"For Your Consideration" was so lousy it felt like a director's plea to stop enabling him.

A B isn't far off, but this ep. about twice as good as last week's, which was similarly graded. This thing had a plot, the jokes were not only more rapid but much more solid. That Burns virtual family thing was for shit. I also very much enjoyed the Boston travelogue aspect. yeah, this was like a B+/A-.

I came her to make this very observation. Watched the "Weiner" documentary and kind of couldn't get over how much one reminded me of the other. not a slam on either.

Honorable folks can disagree, especially about something as subjective as a film comedy, but "Scoop" is a piece of shit and you are out of your mind for thinking otherwise.

IRL, Irving sang the ditty (quite possibly to his daughter, i don't know) to Christopher Hitchens' daughter, as he passed them on way out of Hitchens' apartment. I also can't swear it's the same ditty, not having seen the movie, but how many racist ditties can this guy sing to little girls?

"You just don't get it, rich daddy!"-punchline of "amazing" read. Am not a parent, but if my kid wants 250 dollar sneakers he can fuck right the fuck off.
