I feel sure that zombies would give Marlo a wide berth.

@K. Thrace — thanks for the below info.
Is there any plan to attach the Continuum discussion onto another show's boards now that Defiance is finished for the season?
Query: is our attraction to this man's ongoing oeuvre even partly just because his name is Guillermo Del Toro?
Does anyone else find Kiera's son bland, blank, and monumentally uninteresting? She conveying grief and pain and motherhood with appropriate intensity and then you see this boring pasty little kid who has zero personality and tugs at not a single heartstring and it all seems a complete disconnect in terms of affect.…
What about Tommy? When last we saw him, his noggin was saved from a bullet at the last minute. Then he just disappeared - as if that crazy lovesick kid wouldn't be stuck to Irisa like glue after that. Like others here (and sorry about my late arrival - the show was in my DVR and I just got to it), it seems like a few…
Late here, but just wanted to say I totally agree with the pants-crapping fear inspired by Gerald's Game. Even years after reading it, I'll sometimes be lying in bed in the dark, about half-convinced that there's a madman standing against the wall, hidden in the shadows, watching me. And this happens a lot more often…
Cool to know!
Love the "where's Firefly" AVC meme, but you're also right if you're saying that the show had cool set design. The contrast between the doctor's domain of glass, stainless steel, whites and blues was terrific when placed next to the warmth of the lounge area - the orange sofa was fantastic, the braided (or woven?)…
Thanks for the info! I've been hording 97 episodes of MitM on my DVR.
You make an interesting point @avclub-f4888b3756a0441297315c4198242f8d:disqus . I ended up watching several Golden Girls episodes late at night a few weeks ago (having seen some of it growing up) and I thought that nothing in their house looked real. It was all just background - and when they sit at the small kitchen…
Normally, I balk at all-caps messages but, in this case, I wish there was something even more emphatic to say this with. Because, yes, that a-hole is the WORST.
I'd watch a show about the unsung cameramen on The Greatest Catch (one episode did give them some screentime…oooh, meta).
And, in an unexpected twist, it's also being used to promote the American military (or at least the National Guard). Who would've thought religion and militarism would ever intersect with a white male superhero myth? I'm shocked. Shocked, I tell you!
Getting here late, but I just saw this movie and I thought I'd drop in with my two cents. As a female action fan, I have a love/hate relationship with Roland Emmerich because he casts his movies like he thinks he's being all progressive - ID4: the black, the Jew, the WASP - but, in fact, is painfully, deeply…
Tombstone and Wyatt Earp
That kid was fantastic as Sam Winchester. I might tune into this show just for him, at least for a while.
Ever since Stahma's been getting her lady-love on, she has seemed just generally horny around everyone. I kept thinking, if she was about to be my mother-in-law, I'd be setting some ground rules about 'personal space' to avoid all this slightly inappropriate touching.
Still doesn't make up for the haircut.
I just wish they'd find something to do with female characters other than knock them up and make them post-partum crazy. Fuckin' wombs, nothing but trouble.
