By the time Craig is done, Elba will be too old.  The Bond series has had a bad track record when it comes to casting people a decade-plus after they should've, and I'd hate to see them sully Elba and the franchise by casting him in 2018 or whenever.

James Bond certainly has some Doctor-esque qualities.  Though I'm not sure whether his sonic screwdriver is his penis or his Walther PPK.

Some random thoughts about Justified, because why not:

Holy crap.  Go away for a few days, and BAM! 15 pages to read.

Sometimes when I get a bunch of notifications for shows/comments on other articles, I will post something provocative on this board so I can use the responses to get back here a few seconds quicker.

There's this word that's been thrown around a lot recently, and in the process it has lost some of its meaning.

Some of the Parks & Rec backlash 'round here seems to be getting a bit exaggerated.  I finally saw the most recent episode, and while it wasn't the instant classic some of the show's supporters have claimed it to be, it was also nowhere near as dire as some of the people here cautioned.  I can't help but feel that

I really enjoy Kimbra.

Whoa whoa whoa… better directed?  I agree with everything else you said, but Alfredsson did phenomenal work when it came to directing the thing, and was responsible for it not being the huge mess it might've been.

Hold on, this doesn't make sense.  The quote you copied implies that the person hates the narration, rather than enjoys it.

This hits the nail squarely on the head.  Malcolm's the only one to touch on the truth in the inquiry, but he does it in a massively self-serving and desperate attempt to get himself on the hook.  Malcolm only speaks the truth when it's in service of some greater lie.

Dear Armando Ianucci:

Dear Armando Ianucci:

Maybe they're talking about the Canadian show?

I wonder who wrote that promo.  Apparently it was Gillian's idea, but if either of Gambel & Proctor were involved my enthusiasm has increased ten-fold.

Das Boot is awesome.  I encourage similar productions.
