How the Gods Kill is surprisingly great.

Was it Tango & Cash?

Police have put out an APB for a gentleman who goes by 'Maxwell'.

Can you imagine pinching that nose in order to administer CPR? And then having to shake it off of your fingers like a wad of ectoplasm.

He was the most famous living person, yeah.

So
Does this mean Paul McCartney will get his songs back?

knopfler's homage to 'mason & dixon' is a pleasant tune.

though that's more of a soundtrack I guess..

Speaking of Floyd, their score for the film "More" is pretty sweet.

Oh yeah - Wojciech Kilar (Bram Stoker's Dracula; The Ninth Gate)
I've loved the Dracula score since childhood. It was even a Christmas present one year.

Wow, you're right. I must have dreamed it or something. I was convinced it was Burwell…weird.

er, last weekend.

Odd, my friend just introduced me to "Sir Richard Bishop" and thus the Sun City Girls but a few hours ago. He caught a Richard performance in Toronto last night…great opportunity.

Fantastic Planet / Alain Goraguer
One of my favourite scores of all time, and probably the one I listen to the most outside of actually watching the film.

For the Soderbergh version? I started watching that when it came out and couldn't get into it. Big fan of the book and the Tarkovsky adaptation, though.

T. Newman / American Beauty
God, after that movie came out, it seemed like there were American Beauty 'sound-alikes' just about everywhere one looked. Infesting TV shows and advertising for like 4 or 5 years.

Indeed.

He is outstanding and responsible for one of my favourite scores — The Burbs. It's very rare…I managed to find a copy and I will cherish it forever.

Yeah Burwell is awesome! In addition to all the great Coen collaborations, the 12 Monkeys score is unforgettable.
