For a second I thought this was about that other movie with all the old people (I can't think of it right now, it has hotel in the title I'm pretty sure), and thought that the AV Club had really gone downhill.

As we learned in the finale she wasn't a character, just a plot device.

I don't really understand the hate for Windows 8, it seems basically the same as any other Windows thing I used. Maybe I just don't get computers.

I agree, I don't think society is as far along on this issue as people like to believe. Makes it hard to hate the song completely, even if it's shit.

I just don't like it because it promotes equal rights for homosexuals.

So is this like some commentary on religion? Or a thriller?

Wow, I thought you guys were just being typical AV Clubbers being
hyperbolic about conservatives, but you intrigued me into looking up John
Wayne's views. It's kind of comical how terrible they were, even in the time period.

Yeah I don't think it's on many AV Clubbers must-see-tv lists.

I feel like seeing Psycho without knowing what happens is something very few people will ever experience again.

There's a scene in a shower.

Duck Dynasty

I agree the first meet the parents was pretty funny, but that was 14 years ago.

Ted tearfully says "I love you" to his children, shoots them, then himself, a life without the mother not worth living. We cut to the hospital room where the mother awakens from her coma, scanning the room, surrounded by nothingness, never to know human connection again.

That type of cynicism isn't How I Met Your Mother style. To give any character a non-happy ending would have been a little ridiculous I think.

I mean, when you sleep with over 200 women, it's bound to happen even if you do wear a condom.

I forgot he was in American Hustle. It was basically just a cameo though.

"No one wants the man who helped create Travis Bickle to go out playing second fiddle to Bradley Cooper."

Very true. I do think that Dave really likes him, so it's not totally out of the blue. I doubt it would ever happen though.

If you go to the right college and have low enough standards it's pretty much impossible not to.

I remember hearing somewhere that Letterman fought to get Norm on Late Late night, so it could be true.
However, Norm is a huge troll as well so he could just be saying that to fuck with people.
