I think it would have been funny if they had just made the third exactly the same as the first two as if the backlash never happened. Would have pissed so many people off, probably would have been as good as the new one is, and might have even been interesting to see just because of how ridiculous it would be.

I didn't think there were very many funny parts, it seemed too rushed, and it was way too sentimental. Didn't even try to go kind of sweet, kind of edgy like it's done so well in the past.
