I've always thought his Fantastic Four stuff had a great thread of humor running through it (and especially lately). I haven't read as much of his Ultimates or Secret Warriors yet.

It hasn't been explained yet, but with this being set ambiguously some time after AVX (and Carol still having a story playing out there in X-Men Legacy), who knows if it spins out of that somehow? Carol has changed her look frequently before, so her just deciding to try a new thing doesn't really bother me like it…

Yeah, I was assuming going in that he'd be Robin/Nightwing/The Next Batman and she'd be Talia. Taking on the mantle of Batman with the Joker in the mix is not something a sane person would do, but I guess that's comic book logic for you!

Not even going to lie, if we're determining favorite batfilms by the degree to which I enjoyed them and number of times I've rewatched them, then the '66 Batman wins by a large margin.
