I agree. Given that they've asked him to do another series, I'd say he ate some crow here and decided to cut his losses. All the evidence points to something different than Logan describes.

I watched the episodes again last night, now knowing it was the end of the series, and I have to say my perspective was much different. While I agree with many of the comments here related to the truncation of basically all the storylines, there was a beauty and poingnance to the episodes, particularly the last one,

It was her encounter with Ethan that changed that. He had touched her heart when it was good, and seeing him brought her back to herself. She didn't want to be who she was becoming, but also didn't have the strength to fight on, so she gave up her life to save humanity.

Evolution in action. If you can't zig-zag when you know an arrow is coming, you don't deserve to be Prince of Winterfell. He would have been in charge of everything if he had lived, you know. Better that he is gone.

That battle was going to happen either way; if Sansa and Jon hadn't attacked Winterfell, the Boltons would have been out looking for them with the Umbers anyway. The fact that Jon chose the location of the battle made it possible for the Knights of the Vale to come to his rescue. So, there were no lives to be saved

The path of the story this season seems to indicate that it was unclear to the writers and showrunners whether this series would be continued beyond this year. There are indeed many threads that are not completed, but that is what you would expect for a show that was planning to go on living. Seems to me that the

Yeah, but what reason would the Lannister man have in lying about him being dead? He died in combat, so it's not like he fell off a cliff and was left for dead; his body is probably lying around somewhere.

Point taken. Forgot about that one.

Who knows if she will even remember any of that when Victor is done with her?

Knowing that Malcom, Talbot/Chandler and the Apache are on their way, and having divined who Dracula was, why didn't she just hole up in the house and wait for someone to show up? Confronting him at that moment seems to be the wrong move unless you are sure you are going to shoot him.

Allow me to retort: banality is exactly what Dorian finds so boring. We don't know just how long he's been alive in this incarnation, but it seems long enough to have experienced much of the possibilities of life, and keeps looking for that something new that will spark his inspiration. Lilly was an entirely new

There's been more full frontal male nudity in this show than I've seen in any other cable drama. This season has seen less sex and nudity than any of the previous seasons, so someone must have been complaining.

If that's true, they sure got over to the other side of the world like really fast. It took Yara almost a whole season to get to the other side of Westeros with her gang of killers to rescue Reek. Getting to Slaver's Bay would take longer.

Obviously everything that should have been remade has been, and now we get to the bottom of the barrel . . .

He did indeed.

I don't think so. Moat Cailin is between Winterfell and King's Landing, which means it is south of Winterfell. Sansa and Co. are north. Stannis never had to go through Moat Cailin in his march to defeat.

It is not by works but by grace ye are saved.

Amalgamation and Capital.

Letting Littlefinger walk away with an army was a mistake to begin with. I knew she'd end up calling him into this situation.

Perhaps she can find a way to seduce the HS and have Tommen catch them in the act and cry rape. She, like Melisandre, does seem to know her way around a man's head.
