I wondered exactly the same thing.
I wondered exactly the same thing.
I think it was Yara you saw.
Likely they are headed to the Wall in search of the late Jon Snow. But I'd wager they run into Rickon along the way.
I thought it was suspicious as well, but as far as him surviving, I can't see what it would have to offer anyone. He is a broken man who risked it all and lost. He would have cut his own throat if Brianne hadn't showed up I reckon.
Oh God please don't say that . . .
Indeed. He had the wine merchant who tried to poison Daenerys in Season 2. His network probably began in Essos, if we understand his history correctly.
They could not have stowed away. They were standing on the dock when Jamie's ship was sailing away. Must have grabbed a ship and followed a day behind.
The problem with this, in GoT context, is that we have no idea what the power structure of the Dorne government is, so we have no idea who gains or loses as a result of what happened. Sort of a stray thread of story for me.
This was completely predictable from the events of the previous episode. But I think it makes good sense and gets them together in a reasonable fashion.
And now his watch is ended.
I've given this some thought, and I think there wasn't enough time in the show given to see the better side of Chuck. This guy is a genuinely ethical person in his life I think, but over time he's been out-maneuvered by Bobby over and over again because Bobby has the resources to bribe or otherwise buy off anyone who…
Exactly right. Very similar to the sanctity of the Catholic Confessional.
In that final conversation he started to remind me of the alien alter-ego he played so well in 'DreamCatcher'.
Moonraker still has the best near-death Bond opening of any of the films. First time the stealing-the-villains-parachute-in-mid-air gag was done. Awesome.
Thanks for this review. I remember these shows quite fondly from my childhood, and I had Supercar and Stingray toys.
The opening sequence of Penny Dreadful set the standard for me.
I think Wendy figuring things out and going to Chuck with her heart and her mind to help battle Bobby will be the finale, and next season we see the real conflict begin in earnest.
From 'Wall Street':
Looks like Wendy's going to get to the bottom of this eventually. I'd like that; might go some way to healing the rift between she and Chuck at the moment.
I'm not sure how much responsibility Chuck has for the Pouch's firing; after all, it is Bobby who is trying to avoid prosecution, and fired his guy in furtherance of this effort to conceal his criminal acts. Feeding misinformation to the enemy is SOP in covert operations.
