Isn't Downer's Grove what happens if George Bailey jumps off the bridge?

I've been a janitor in a shopping mall and I've also cleaned out horse stalls.
I'll take horse stalls every time.
People are disgusting.

And on a "this isn't funny" note, a long-time Walmart employee told me a couple of days back that 70% of Walmart employees require government assistance (food stamps, etc.) to keep their bills paid.  McDonald's pays better than Walmart.

Tried again, made it through the second paragraph, then crashed.

I tried, I really tried to make it through his post, but once again I failed.

20 comments and someone beat me to this.  Sheesh.
Anyway—fully agree.  Not in the style of O'Neal, but definitely welcome.

'Chalk it up to a case of “write what you know.”'
Very nicely played.

There's a great sentence in her Wikipedia entry that says she is the author of a book written by a ghost writer.  (Obviously not an exact quotation there.)
