And I'd still like to see commentary on She Came to the Valley, possibly the worst movie I've ever seen, and Tap, the Gregory Hines half musical/half gangster film that featured a fine group of old time tap dancers, including Sammy Davis, Jr.

Yeah, me too, now that I think about it.  The series was almost at an end when I found it, and I took a couple of days to read all the entries, and the comments, and that's when I made the AV Club a destination instead of scenery on my way to somewhere else.

Your lips to god's ears, and so on.

Hang on, lads; I've got a great idea.

Tony Robbins, right?

If only this had been Kirk Cameron's birthday cake.

He was okay in Flyboys.

I guess we know who the target demographic is now, eh, Juan?

I just checked—pancreatic cancer, chemo for the last six months.
Still touring and doing shows, though, and hopes to continue till he dies, I guess.
He's 87.  Tough old bastard.

Up through the '90s, he was appearing in Houston clubs almost every weekend.  Man's old—stay close to home, not much travel, keep performing, why not?
For all I know, he may still be doing shows; I don't get the Houston paper anymore on Sunday.

Woman I worked with, she left her husband.  He broke into the house where she was staying, stole her gun and left a copy of "He Stopped Loving Her Today," went to a local park and shot himself in the head.  Front page picture in the local paper, which was a bad thing; there were two kids involved.
Consequently, I don't

But for how much longer?

I thought TomWaitsforSnowman changed his name.  Can't remember what to, though, but it was clever, too.
