After 1 1/2 seasons of borderline mediocrity

It's not Showtime, but I can vouch for the worthiness of Thrones.  (Not that my opinion holds any solid merit for you!)

No, you're right.  I don't really think it's a plot-hole.  As some have already mentioned:  it was night-time, and there are alternate, sneaky means to get out of a hotel.  It's fairly plausible for me.

Perhaps I'm being unfair. I'm basing that opinion on the Showtime shows I've actually seen.
